Abstract Expressionism is a modern art movement that flowered in America after the Second World War and held sway until the dawn of pop art in the 1960's.
Robert Hughes and clement greenberg express their emotions within their art works and display feelings. Abstract expressionist paintings may look random and desultory, but the paintings contain deeper meaning. Abstract expressionist artists believed that their work explored the human condition. The mere act of painting was seen as a way to release subconscious feelings and desires.

- Corinne Stevie Brigden From the south coast from a small town called Tuross Head, lived there since i was born, until last year when i moved to Canberra to study Photography.
