Aerial photography was used by the military in the 1940's, A series of photographs were taken in a sequence, and shot at a low level. By photographing this way the soldiers were able to view the enemy's grounds in a much easier way and plan a strategy. yet to this day photography around the world is aerially photographed, may it be for an artist for a stronger view of a building or even for websites that use it for maps and other aspects.
